Cobra F.C.'s Biography
A group of friends who play soccer for the love of it. It all started with
Amin and
Harith Waie who were talking about
Galacticos F.C. (The SAS Seniors team in 2007) in the school's canteen so they decided to make a team too.
Harith Waie gave
Celtics as the team's name, but
Amin wanted it to sound as similar to
Galacticos so therefore, it was called
Celticose F.C. We had only a few players but not until we recruited players from other classes in our school. A few days later, it was announced that the team had become official. The first match was against
SAS F.C. but unfortunately, we lost. This is
Celticose F.C.'s emblem --

2 years later, as we recruited
Nick into the team, we made him our team captain and he planned to change the name. It was a choice between "Livestrong F.C." and "Cobra F.C." and since the latter had the most votes, we then we decided to go with majority. We started to have trainings and recruited even more players from our school and other schools. We were once temporarily coached by
Victor, a Singaporean Armed Forces recruit. Apparently, he left us because of personal problems back in Singapore.
"Once a Cobra, always a Cobra."
The motto was created by Amin Tamrin.
Cobra F.C. was established in the year 2009 with the man himself, Nicholaus Downs, as its original founder and creator. Unfortunately, he is not apart of the team anymore for he left us early in the year 2011.
We've participated in inter-school activities such as the
SAS Under-15 Futsal Tournament and
J.I.S. Football Funday 2008/9. We've also played some official matches. (i.e.
Omar Halim's Brother's police team and Galacticos F.C.)
